It only took an hour to set up our 15ft by 12ft garden, 6 hanging plant baskets, and 4 flower pots. I ordered some extra inline drippers and an extra 100ft of tubing so I would have enough.

I have had zero issues with this product. Waters my plants twice a day even when I am not around. They are growing twice as fast as before! Thanks RainDrip!

Product description is wrong [Posted on 2007-08-06]
It is 1/4 inch tubing and all accessories, not 1/2 inch. Repeat, there is no 1/2 tubing with this kit. The only way it differs from the much cheaper container kit (R552D) is that this one includes an automatic timer.
After looking at reviews for the included timer here at Amazon, I would probably just get the cheaper kit at $20, and get a better rated timer from another company.

It works great. Out of the box ...it had problems with leaking water through the connectors so i replaced those cheap plastic gaskets with rubber ones (same size as garden hose). It waters flowers regularly and they are blooming much better than before. I highly recommend this item.

Good starter kit [Posted on 2008-04-27]
This is a good starter kit and very easily expandable with readily available items at Home Depot or Lowes. I have 15 large containers (tomatoes, peppers, etc.) and ended up buying 1/2 feeder hose and using the 1/4 inch hose in the kit to branch off to each container in order to maintain equal pressure to each plant. Still - it gets you started.

The timer works great and the whole system is super easy to set up. I found the instructions on the box work better than the book enclosed. I have 13 medium to large pots on my patio so I had to order extra "T" connectors and line drip heads. I read one of the reviews where the person stated to replace the stiff yellow ring on the timer with a rubber hose ring. Nothing leaks at all. The hose hides easily beneath the rock surrounding the patio. This system is perfect and saves me a ton of time - plus we go to our cabin every weekend so this allows me to container garden and not worry about searing hot weekends.
