This was a replacement for a Leatherman tool which I had had for 20 years and just had confiscated at the airport--it was in a carryon bag that I had traveled with in my car, in its black nylon sheath which I did not see when packing for the airplane. I was looking for a lower-cost replacement for what cost me $12 back then; now most of them have a zillion blades which I don't need. This one fit the bill and was comparatively low cost. A good purchase.
