These rulers are holding up with my field staff much better than any wooden ruler. The only complaints are that they are much stiffer and harder to unfold than a typical wooden ruler.

Used this ruler for one year making measurements of snowfall and total snow accumulation; found it sturdy and accurate, good for one handed use and is very handy (folds up and fits into pocket)
