This attachment does not hold the Rotozip square to the base plate. It is ok for rounding over edges but not for template work. Way overpriced too. It wouldn't be that hard to redesign this tool to fix its faults so I can't understand why it was engineered this way.

The Rotozip does not have the amps to be even considered on the same level as a cheap old Chinese made router, and thats a fact jack.

The Rotozip is good for starting fires........not cutting wood. Stick with a recipricating saw for cutting wood and a real router for routing work. You will be much happier.

I found this item to work very well for the small project that I was working on. (recess magnets into a name plaque). Now for larger projects an actual router would probably be the best rather than a multi purpose tool. I had zero problems with assembly or the tool setting flush to the attachment or the attachment being flush to the wood. As for cost, I think it could be cheaper, but is worth the purchase if you already have a rotozip. And you can save money by purchasing only the bits you need instead of the sample pack.
