It works. [Posted on 2008-03-27] A small part on this sprayer was damaged in transport. I contacted the company via email and they sent out a replacement part very quickly. The sprayer works well. The large capacity is a big bonus.
Did not work for me. [Posted on 2008-04-14] Great invention that needs tweaking. The drip from the hose is too fine for what I bought this product so had to return it. Maybe the next generation will have the hose at the base to make gravity help the water flow more.
Beats the others [Posted on 2008-04-20] So far so good! I have a long and wide gravel drive and graveled apron up to my barn. The whole weed-killing exercise, which has to be repeated multiple times a year, was getting to be an ordeal--both the pumping and carrying. When I decided to enlarge the area I wanted to keep weed free, I went looking for an alternate solution and found this unit.
I've used it only once, but that was a BIG once as there was so much area to cover. It worked exactly as described with no problems, whatsoever. You roll and it sprays where you aim and shoot. It comes assembled. You just fill and go.
I do wish the hose were a bit longer to allow more maneuverability, but for spraying the ground it was adequate and was soooo much better than the other versions I'm not complaining too loudly. I also wish the tank were clearly marked with gallon lines and max fill level. There are notches and you know the capacity is four gallons, so it's not too hard to figure out, however.
I always had enough pressure to spray even when standing still, although I did roll it back and forth sometimes when there was a lot to spray in one place, to maintain maximum spraying force. All in all, it was well worth the investment--and my weeds are dying on schedule.
Gilmour wheel pump [Posted on 2008-05-03] The pump works well. The smaller version is without a doubt a better choice. When this pump is filled it is heavy and ackward to handle. The wand is very cheaply made, this should have been made of medal rather than plastic. After being in the sun, the wand curled. I would recommend to anyone interested, don't buy the 4-Gallon, buy the smaller version.

Handy Helper [Posted on 2008-05-09] We have a fairly large yard and my husband , for medical reasons, can't do the things he used to do. I bought this so he did not have to carry or manually pump anything. It works great and he really likes it. Glad we went for the 4 gallon size.
