Customer Reviews:

Excellent Sprayer; Fast delivery [Posted on 2007-06-01]
Ordered item on a Monday (holiday); recieved it on Wednesday, less than 48 hours after order. The sprayer is very durable and easy to use, particularly for fruit trees. Not something you'd find at Wal Mart or Lowe's. Highly recommend it.

The best sprayer! [Posted on 2007-10-17]
Excellent product! This sprayer is ideal for all my needs. Have had 2-4 gal. hand-held tank sprayers for years. Always hated spraying chores with those "old" sprayers. The backpack is the best!!!!! and pumps up much more pressure for far longer than any of the "old" hand-held tank sprayers ever imagined. Well worth the money!

Very good  [Posted on 2007-11-09]
I like this back pack sprayer, works very well just need to learn how to time the spray not to use it to long in one spot. It has a great build and lots of presure to do the job I needed it for and it came with 4 nozzels well worth the money.

Some Notable Drawbacks [Posted on 2008-04-14]
I have had to retract some of my criticisms. Please read the attached comments.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe there's something I'm missing, that the other reviewers "get", but I don't, but I have not been as pleased with this sprayer as they have been.

Up front, let me say that as far as spraying things goes, it works well. You can get good pressure and, thus, better dispersal/height than with a smaller portable sprayer. You'll still need a ladder, though, for those mature fruit trees that are semi-dwarf and larger.

What's troubling though are the "ease of use" design issues. First, when the sprayer is sitting on the ground/bench, pumping it causes the pump mechanism to impact the surface it sits on, thus impeding the ability to pump it. Second, the instructions note that you should pump "continuously" while in use. I'm not sure what that means but I can tell you that pumping it, at all, while it's on your back is an exercise in contortionism. The handle sits up high, well behind your left shoulder. Essentially, it can not be functioned with your left hand. You can drop the nozzle and, with your right hand, reach over your left shoulder and pump the unit with several very short-travel strokes, causing unpleasant strain in the latissimus dorsi on your right side.

Finally, and most annoyingly, there are NO liquid level marks on the tank (at least as far as I can find). If you want 2 gallons in the tank, you need to measure into another container first, not from the hose directly into the sprayer.

In conclusion, this sprayer has problems that make me wish I had not spent the money.

not worth the extra money [Posted on 2008-06-08]
Stick with the solo that cost about $85. Don't need the 150psi pressure because its so hard to pump it up to the higher pressure. Good product. solid built. Like the different tips. Have pumped about 75 gallons through mine with no problems. Good tricept burn after about 10 gallons.
