This saw always amazes me at how well and smooth it cuts with very little "muscle" on my part. One of my favorite tools.

When used as a fret cutting saw, this little pull saw cuts an accurate slot of just the right width kerf for press fitting frets in a guitar fretboard. A great addition to a luthiers tool kit.

I've used this saw to flush cut dowel rods after making furniture repairs. It's excellent for that task. The blade is made of good Japanese steel and it is sharp. It's nice, too, that the blade is replaceable. All in all, this is a good tool and a good value.

Please see my review of Shark 58-9018 -- have purchased several Shark tools (think I labeled these Sharp -- which they also are). You cannot go wrong with purchasing these.

This saw is a must for fine carpentry. I don't know how I ever got by without it.
