Fine Cut Saw - Awesome! [Posted on 2007-01-22]
This tool worked perfectly for sawing the bottom of door trim for installing hardwood floors. There are other products that advertise that they do the same job but are many times more than the cost of the saw.

Great Hand Saw [Posted on 2007-07-27]
I needed to do precision cuts on two 6x8 posts (cross and rip cuts) and knew that none of my power tools would work well. I have one of the Shark general carpentry saws and really like it so I got this one. Wow, it makes a really clean, precise cut without much difficulty. I have used it on some other odd cut off jobs and it is really good. Well worth getting it.

great saw [Posted on 2007-09-16]
Super sharp and fast, smooth cut. I mostly use this saw for undercutting door jambs and casing in prep for tile and hardwood. Beware of nails though! I have ruined 2 or 3 blades by hitting nails that were buried in the bottom of the door jamb( door installer didn't remove shipping nails).
I never use the rip edge though ,wish both sides were crosscut.Shark does make a model that is crosscut on both sides but not in the 17tpi. Very impressed with Shark tools, their prybar/nail puller is indispensable.

Love this saw [Posted on 2008-01-07]
If you're used to Western saws, it might take you a while to get used to a pull saw. Usually, that's about five minutes!

This saw has two cutting edges, one for ripping and one for cross-cutting, and it does both really well. It's light, extremely sharp, and makes short work of just about anything. I have a table saw, band saw, jig saw and circular saw, but unless I have to make many repetitive cuts this is the saw I use.

You can pay a little more and get the same kind of saw with a fancy handle. Plastic works just fine for me.

Good Deal [Posted on 2008-06-23]
I've used several other, more expensive, pull saws. We call them sushi saws on the site. This one is great. Very sharp. Just wish it came with a sheath.
