A great set, although a little expensive for casual use [Posted on 2001-03-12] These screwdrivers are as good as screwdrivers get, period. The big, three sided handles are easy to grip, and they're made out some kind of hard, tough, rubbery stuff that won't slip in sweaty hands. You can really crank out the torque with these things. Three of the largest flat bladed ones have bolsters right below the handles where you can also use a wrench to get even more torque. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because I thought they were a little expensive for casual use around the house, but if you've got a job where you use screwdrivers alot they're worth the money.
Pretty Cool Set [Posted on 2002-04-01] This is a pretty cool set, and I've had pretty good luck with most of the newer generation of Stanley Fat Max hand tools -- which I must admit I originally began using because I like the name... Anyhow, the only possible criticism would be that there are several distinctly similar pieces in this screwdriver collection -- too similar. They might have stuck a few square-headed, Torx or specialty drivers in, rather than having two or three spade or phillips head drivers which are within micrometers of the same size. Overall, a good value for the money, though.
Great set as long as it's dry! [Posted on 2004-09-07] I like the set and my only criticism is that they rust very easily, at least in a boat environment. Before I put them on my boat they were just fine. Less than 6 months onboard and they are all rusty.
