Works great... easy to use. [Posted on 2008-04-28] I decided a laser level would be handy for a couple of recent projects, but having no experience with them, I started researching on-line. I quickly learned that the inexpensive ones required push pins, velcro, suction cups, etc., which sounded like a real kludge. Then I found this kit that attaches to a pole. I found it to be extremely easy to use. The pole adjusts to fit between the ceiling and floor in about 30 seconds, clamp the laser to the pole, and you're all set. The laser self levels. It worked exactly as I hoped, and was not fiddly at all. In the future, I'll use it in a heartbeat, it's that easy. Highly recommended.
Great for hanging pictures [Posted on 2008-04-29] This was my first experience with a cross-line-laser and couldn't be happier with the result. The self-leveling laser took the guess work out of whether the pictures were level. I had a dozen pictures to hang which I was dreading, but the Cross-line-laser in conjunction with 3M Action adhesive strips made the chore a snap. Just aim the lazer cross-hairs until you find the optimum height and eye-center-point on the wall, then used 3M Action strips to merely "stick" the picture on the wall. That was all there was to it, pictures were hung in minutes with no measuring, end of story!
Electrician needing a laser [Posted on 2008-06-01] Well Im a Electrician that works on communitys up to 300 or more living units.I always have a problem w/ the kitchen areas because of the backsplases and the outlets on that wall. They always seem to be unleveled ( floor framing sinking). So I bought this laser for that, and it works great. The only problem is that most homes these days have higher ceiling that 9ft. This laser is also good for making sure you recessed can lights are lined up .
