For the price of this item, I expected that the numbers on the dial should have alinged more precisely.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of the product. Not only was it much larger than I expected, but it was made of metal, not plastic as I had assumed.

I have in the past needed a protractor with these features that enable me to use my miter saw more effitiently. I am looking forward to using the protractor in the short future.

My husband is a do it yourselfer and is very excited to use this protactor, he was not able to always mitre a corner to fit well but this instrument should help with that.

The protractor I received was defective in its manufacture. Product advertising describes and shows both a red degree scale and a red arrow. The unit I receved did not have the red scale and only part of the arrow was red. I contacted the manufacturer and they provided sympathy only, and no resolution to the problem except "return it." Thank you amazon.com for making return of this item painless! I will no longer consider Starrett for future tool purchases.
