Another tool I can't believe I got along without for so long [Posted on 2007-10-31]
Yes, I did miters the hack way in the past. Cut one at 45, cut the other to match (slowly cutting and checking, cutting and checking). I've used this tool to build a kitchen of sofit moldings, and three large rooms with shoe moldings (about 80 pieces total (160 cuts). This tool performed flawlessly, helping create almost perfect miters. I'm amazed at how few angles around the homes I've lived in are even 22.5, 45 and 90. I'd say only about 1 out of 20 cuts is measured to be "perfect". For the other 19 out of 20, use this tool.

This protractor saves hours of fitting, shaving, journeys back and forth to saw stand and general aggrivation. Measure angle with protractor, set saw to to degree indicated on the tool, cut and install. Perfect joints and miters every time. An excellent tool for the trim carpenter.

Great little tool [Posted on 2008-03-15]
Used this tool for installing trim, did a great job finding angles. Checked it with my square when I got it , and it was right on. I do wish it would come with a case, because i'm afraid it would scratch the face up in my tool box.

I haven't use the item as of yet, but I did test it and than compared the measurements to my Compound saw and found the saw was off.

I had tried to cut molding before and they would never fit (because of the saw) and so I had to hire a professional, but now with this product I look forward to cutting angles on wood anytime!

I'm so glad this product is here and I look forward to making my projects sucessful!!

A tool that saved me a lot of time [Posted on 2008-04-03]
I recently installed crown mouldings to the cabinets of my kitchen, this tool saved me a lot time, I measured the angles, went to my miter saw, set the miter to the angle provided by the tool, and made a perfect miter joint.
