I purchased a Wood Magnet and was very disappointed. It may be OK for 2x4 posts (not tried), but I found it somewhat flimsy and seriously in error for 4x4 posts. The bubble levels were so far off as to be unusable.

I purchased this tool for odd jobs around the house, I have found it usefull for building walls in our shed, also used it on a 2x4 to level some dirt for pavers. Great bang for the buck!
