might be a good thing, can't get one that's not broken [Posted on 2005-12-23]
I have ordered two of these thinking they would make a good gift for two friends who are moderate do it yourself guys. With both orders the box it arrived in was in fine condition, and the boxes were packaged with cushioning to prevent shifting within the box. Also with both orders when I opened the case this kit comes in, I found the contents had shifted and had either been scarred or broken. I'm just glad I was curious enough to open the case before I wrapped it! For 45 or so bucks I knew it wouldn't be bulletproof, but I did figure it might withstand the trip from whatever country they made these cheap things in. I don't think I'm going to bother trying a third time.
