It does the job.... [Posted on 2006-02-28] Well, i took the product out in the winter time, and it added an extra layer of warmth for those cold nights. I'd say I really liked the outer water resistant shell better than other fleece sleeping bags without it. If you're doing camping with no tent, better to opt for this design and take the extra ounces. But with a tent, its not necessarily needed. The shell helped prevent dew getting in and I found myself blanketed in snow a few times, having the shell helped there. I've yet to test it in summer conditions, i'm sure if i do, it would recieve a higher rating. I hope that this information helps, enjoy!
...the perfect sleeping bag! [Posted on 2006-03-02] ...I really love this very cosy sleeping bag. I even used it inside my other sleeping bag and so it's way more comfortable - and also a lot warmer!!
Five stars for a great product at a great price!!!
perfect for warm weather camping [Posted on 2007-01-10] This blanket doubles as a sleeping sack for warm weather camping. It is well made and attractive. As a blanket it is nice to have a lightweight option of fleece or nylon. Our dog keeps finding it and claiming it for her own-trust me-that is a big compliment from a picky dog.
It's decent [Posted on 2007-08-25] This is a pretty neat thing because although it is a sleeping bag liner it still has a tougher outer lining so it can be used alone (for warm weather of course). My only complaint is that I am 6'1" and it is somewhat too small. (it covers up my shoulders but leaves little "bundling up" room)
Great for those Cool nights [Posted on 2007-10-03] I use this bag when it's going to be in the 50's or 60's at night. It's the perfect weight to not add much to the backpack but still keeps me plenty warm when the air is just a little bit chilly. Haven't had the chance to insert it into my 20 degree bag yet, but I'm sure when that happens it will easily add 10 degrees to it. Great bag for a decent price and well constructed.
