This is a very good product for the money. One small quirp: there is no inline light switch. Put one in for about $5. Very good light. The blower works very well. This seems to be a constant complaint with other saws Very good product but the free shipping really made it a great deal Jet bought out Wilton power. Find me a $150 Jet

horrible quality - zero for two... [Posted on 2008-02-12]
Looked like a decent alternative to the big names/price tag models but the quality is complete garbage. Tried two units, both have been returned without a successful power up of the saw. The first unit arrived and i set it up on the bench, squared the table and blade, went to lower the foot onto the piece and the knob that controls the height of the foot literally crumbled to pieces in my hand (with very little force i should add). there was no way to adjust it so it went back. Amazon was great with the replacement, shipping the new one right away.

The foot adjustment went fine this time and was once again ready to scroll until i went to turn it on. the little bar you grab to turn it on wouldn't budge. wouldn't go in, wouldn't slide out - no way to turn the p.o.s. on.

Also another thing to note, the description on amazon says the saw accepts both plain end and pin end blades. However in the manual it clearly states that it only accepts pin-end blades. Since i never was able to power one up, i never got around to changing the blade to find out. Just a little heads up.

In the end, i got what i paid for.

Purchased on line and read the company specs but when the product arrived it did not perform the way it was advertised. The scroll saw advertisement stated that it would handle both straight and pin type blades. When the product arrived, the instruction booklet stated that it would use only pin type blades. .

The quality of the machine was poor. The plastic knob fell off during shipping. I sent the machine back immediately.
